The National Network on Cuba supports the call for emergency national days of action -- Jan. 22 to Jan. 31, and beyond -- to send a message of solidarity and friendship to the people of Venezuela and wishes of good health for President Hugo Chavez.

As a Cuba solidarity network, we lift our voices to tell Washington and the Venezuelan elite: NO to destabilization efforts in Venezuela, which we fully recognize is also aimed at Cuba's sovereignty. We say: "Hands off the Bolivarian Revolution."

The NNOC salutes Venezuela's contribution in uniting the Bolivarian Alliance for the People of Our America (ALBA) which together with Cuba has improved the lives of millions by basing development on meeting human needs instead of profit.
