Release Mumia Now! Rally and March April 24

Please spread the word about the rally to Free Mumia on April 24th in Philadelphia

April 24th marks the 59th birthday of internationally acclaimed journalist and political prisoner Mumia Abu-Jamal, who has spent 30 years on death row for a crime he didn't commit. Last year his death sentence was commuted to life in prison, but we are clear -- life in prison is not justice. Mumia is innocent. We want his immediate release.

We'd love for everyone to spread the word and show their support using social media. Share the news with your email lists, live tweeting during the rally, and any other way you can get the message out.

Here’s how you can help:

Post the information to email lists and to your contacts: Please send the flyer to your email lists on the days leading up to the event to let people know how they can participate.

Share the information on social media: Spread the word about April 24th on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, Blogger, Reddit, Google+, Instagram, etc. We want people to share their opinions on Mumia's case, the death penalty, mass incarceration, the school-to-prison pipeline, the war on drugs, etc., on all the social media tools you use.
