A Call to Camp at City Hall for Mumia From the Desk of the International Secretary of ICFFMAJ

Justice for Mumia and MOVEBeginning Friday May 11th we are going to be setting up camp at city hall in Philadelphia. Literally setting up camp, and we aren't leaving until Sunday the 13th. Our plan is simple: we are calling all people who believe that on some level or another justice has never been served in this case. We want you to participate in a three day vigil for justice. We want you to join us for a hip-hop concert friday night featuring political acts from Philadelphia and New York. We want you to join us in a giant protest on Saturday May 12th as we take our struggle to the streets. We want you to join us for a memorial to MOVE Founder JOHN AFRICA, (and to all MOVE members who have sacrifised their lives to fighting the system) on May 13th which is the anniversary of the city of Philadelphia's bombing of the MOVE organization.
May 11th we are meeting up at city hall and setting up camp, that night, we are having a hip-hop concert featuring c-rayz walls, grand agent, luminous flux, warrclub, seeds of wisdom, and ricanstruction from 6-11 to kick off the weekend's event. May 12th we are hosting a giant rally at city hall that will be starting at noon, with different programs going on throughout the day. May 13th we are going to march to Clark Park in West Philadelphia where there is going to be a program from 10-4 including: exclusive statements from the MOVE 9 and from Mumia, a puppet performance, distribution of raw foods, performances by c-rayz walls and the seeds of wisdom and other speakers.
We are encouraging people to bring: tents and bedding, literature and merchandise, family and friends, motivation and energy.
We are going to provide: space, food, speaking platforms, and all the forces we can gather.
Food not Bombs Philadelphia and Food not Bombs Hoboken have both said they will provide food for the two days at city hall.
