Book Release and Reading of Mumia's New Book "Faith of Our Fathers"
You are Cordially Invited to three separate book release parties/signings/readings in 3 cities celebrating Mumia's new book from Africa World Press "Faith of Our Fathers: An Examination of the Spiritual Life of African and African American People."
The events will occur in Washington, D.C. on November 29th; Philadelphia on November 30th, and New York City on December 5th.
Each event will feature readings by supporters of Mumia such as Ossie Davis, Ruby Dee, Toni Medina, Sybil Roberts, Dr. Ishakamusa Barashango, and presentations on Mumia by Pam Africa, Sam Jorden, and others.

Washington, D.C., Saturday, November 29th, 4 - 7 pm at Cafe Mawonaj, 624 T Street N.W.
Readings from Mumia's book by Toni Medina, poet and professor at Howard University and author or books including "Bum Rush The Page;" Melani Douglass aka "Daughter of the Northstar, poet and direct descendant of of Frederick Douglass; professor Sybil Roberts, playwright of "A Love Song for Mumia" will share her astounding 15 minute play called "The Visit;" Mark Thomas, minister, activist and radio host of "Make It Plain" radio show on X.M. satellite radio; attorney Sam Jorden; Pam Africa, coordinator of ICFFMAJ and Minister of Confrontation for the Move Organization. Additional speakers to be confirmed.

Mumia's book and information on his case will be presented by Mumia's sister Lydia Barashango and his brother-in-law, Rev. Dr. Ishakamusa Barashango, author of "European Holidays: A Mental Genocide." A presentation will also be given by ICFFMAJ coordinator Pam Africa.
