Mumia's life continues to be in danger as he resists at this very moment on PA's death row at SCI Greene. Do not let the activities of April 24 pass without your organization's support! Whether you know in your heart of hearts that Mumia is innocent or just believe that he at the very least deserves a new and fair trial, now is the time for all groups who support justice to step up and publicly voice their support for a day of resistance honoring Mumia.
April 24th is Mumia's 50th birthday, and his 22nd birthday in prison.
April 24th is also the release date of yet another book by Mumia, a historical account of the Black Panther Party.
The day of April 24th itself will include a major demonstration and march, a music/cultural resistance event in the evening, and book release/birthday celebration. All events are scheduled for Philadelphia, PA
