DECEMBER 13TH CONFERENCE FOR MUMIA AND OTHER IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS REGARDING MUMIA'S CASE AND THE STRUGGLE AGAINST THE DEATH PENALTY

The following excerpts are from a Sept. 24, 2003 memo sent out by International Concerned Family and Friends of Mumia Abu-Jamal:

On the weekend of Dec.13th there will be a major conference in Phila. for Mumia. This Dec. 9 marks 22 years since Mumia's arrest and imprisonment despite the massive amounts of evidence proving his innocence. It's been 22 years too long and we must step up the pressure to demand his release. Please mark this event on your calendar, spread the word and start organizing buses, etc. from out of town. Phone trees must be put to use now so that everyone knows about this very important conference. More details will soon come. Please let us know you will be there by emailing ICFFMAJ@aol.com.

Also, in the beginning of October there will be a massive ceremony in Paris, France to mark Mumia's honorary citizenship. Mumia already officially received this honor but an official ceremony of this size had not been done. Stay tuned for more details so that we can pressure media here to cover this amazing event.

On October 11th the Pennsylvania Abolitionists will be heading to Harrisburg along with Gov. Ryan to put pressure on Rendell for a death penalty moratorium. We will also be going in solidarity and to pressure this key player in Mumia's framing to undue this horrible injustice he has committed and FREE MUMIA. If you are interested email ICFFMAJ@aol.com or call 215 687 1147.

We have the truth, Mumia is innocent and we aren't gonna stop until freedom is won! OnaMOVE!
