CONTRIBUTE TO THE PROGRAM JOURNAL FOR MAY 7 MUMIA EVENT

A Special Program Journal will be distributed at the May 7 Day for Mumia Event at Madison Square Garden Theater. This journal is a great opportunity for individuals and organizations to be part of the lasting record of May 7, while helping to defray the enormous costs of this historic event.
Thousands will join together on May 7 to demand a new trial for Mumia Abu- Jamal and for an immediate end to the death penalty and police terror. All who fill Madison Square Garden Theater on May 7 will receive a copy of the Program Journal. We are printing 10,000 copies so that it also can be sent to key members of the media, elected officials, and religious and academic institutions. The ticket prices for the May 7 event have been kept low so that more people can attend. But funds must be raised to meet the costs of the event.
Anti-death penalty and other organizations, Mumia support committees, unions, religious groups, student and community groups, gay/lesbian/bi/trans networks have already responded by taking out ads in this beautiful and lasting commemorative book. Friends and co-workers are taking up collections for ads. Individuals are adding their names to the growing lists of Sponsors and Supporters.
Display Ads in the Program Journal can be memorial tributes or ads from progressive publishers, bookstores and internet sites. They also can be greetings and solidarity statements from attorneys, writers, celebrities, artists, teachers, healthcare workers, and more.
DISPLAY AD INFORMATION Display Ad prices and sizes are as follows: Full-page Ad (7.25"wide x 9.75" high) for $1000 donation Half-page Ad (7.25" wide x 4.75" high) for $500 donation Quarter-page Ad (3.5" wide x 4.75" high) for $250 donation
Ads can be designed by our Journal staff if requested. Or you can send in camera-ready copy by mail or deliver it to the May 7 Mobilization office. Text for a Display Ad can be faxed to 212-675-7869 or mailed.
SPONSOR/SUPPORTER LISTINGS You can be listed in the journal as a Sponsor for a $100 donation. Supporter listings require a $50 donation. Please indicate how your want your name listed when you send in your response.
SPECIAL GUEST SEATING: Taking out a full-page ad entitles the organization or individual to four tickets in the Special Guest seating near the front of Madison Square Garden theater. A half-page or quarter page ad includes 2 Special Guest tickets. A Sponsor listing includes 1 Special Guest ticket.
