ACTION ALERT ON MUMIA CASE: 10/5/99 FROM INTERNATIONAL CONCERNED FAMILY & FRIENDS OF MUMIA ABU-JAMAL

On Monday, October 4, 1999 the Supreme Court denied Mumia Abu-Jamal’s appeal for a new trial. Mumia’s response is "It was not unexpected that the Supreme Court would deny my appeal." However, Mumia exclaims "we can’t forget that the truth shall set you free. I still believe that. I’d be a fool not to."

Mumia still believes that, and so should we. This blood thirsty government is counting down for the kill. Therefore, we will be rallying today, October 5, 1999, at 4:00 at the State Office Building, Broad and Spring Garden, Philadelphia. We must keep the pressure on this government, this rally is to continue circulating the truth about Mumia’s case.
