Rally in Support of the Peltier 4!

100 Center St., Manhattan, 9 AM Mon Jan 29th Near City Hall, New York City

On Sunday, Dec 10th, thousands rallied in NYC in  Support of Executive Clemency for Leonard Peltier.   During the march, four supporters were arrested.

As we know, the voice of the people as well as a  sound analysis of the facts have once again been  ignored.  Bill Clinton is know confronted with allegations that he essentially sold at least on of the  clemencies he granted.  Many more of the wealthy, white- collar criminal recipients can be expected to give  generously to Hillary's or even to Bill's future  campaign coffers.

In the meanwhile, Leonard Peltier had the strength on  the day of his denial to begin a discussion of next  steps.

One important step can take here in NYC is to support  the Peltier 4 this coming Monday.  Once again, the NYPD  has arbitrarily grabbed law-abiding citizens off the  street and lodged bogus charges against them.

Show your support by joining us in front of the City  Court House this coming Monday, Jan 29th, and go inside  if you have the time.  We are also collecting funds to  help defray travel and other expenses.

Check out http://freepeltier.org  for the latest on  Leonard.  Consider signing up for the email action  alert list.  It is very low volume, and has proven to  be a very useful tool in confronting periodic hassles  that Leonard and other political prisoners face from  their jailers - for example, when Leonard needed jaw  surgry, flooding various offices with calls helped  secure that victory for him.

Thank you,
Denis Moynihan
