On Saturday, April 24--Mumia’s birthday—a massive outpouring in Philadelphia and San Francisco will demand Mumia’s basic right to a fair trial. Together we can be a powerful force for truth. Hip hop and rap artists, international delegates, prominent political figures and religious leaders will join tens of thousands of Youths and Students for Mumia, Latinos for Mumia, LGBT for Mumia, Labor for Mumia, as well as many thousands of other community activists and people’s organizations in building a powerful mobilization.
Help bring a million people to Philadelphia on April 24.
What will it take to get a million people to Philadelphia on April 24? It will take tens of thousands of people donating their time, talent and money. It will take putting up thousands of posters, distributing hundreds of thousands of flyers and answering countless phone calls and emails.
Mobilizations every Saturday
Every Saturday, volunteers team up to publicize Mumia’s case and build the April 24 march. Join a team to put up posters and distribute flyers on the street, inside train stations or on college campuses. Meet at 12 noon at the Mumia Mobilization Office, 39 West 14th Street, #206, between 5th and 6th Aves.

Find out what is being planned and how you can participate to make this mobilization the huge success it needs to be. This is the first of weekly volunteers meetings, which will be held every Tuesday. Get in on the ground floor!
Office Volunteers
There are many more tasks than available hands. Help is needed on everything—from answering the phones, to mailings, to shipping, to faxing and emailing. The office hours are: Monday-Friday, 10 am - 8 pm; Saturday, 11 am - 6 pm.
What you can do:
To contribute to the April 24 Mobilization, make checks to Millions for Mumia and mail to New York office. To contribute to Mumia’s legal defense, make checks to Black United Fund/Mumia Abu-Jamal, earmarked legal defense, and mail to 2227 No. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19132-4502.

Philadelphia Student/Youth WALK-OUT April 23rd
YOUTH STAGE at MILLIONS FOR MUMIA!
There WILL be a youth stage on April 24th. It will open up beginning at 9 AM and will temporarily wind down around noon, when the MAIN STAGE will open up. The Youth Stage will re-open after the march begins.
The youth stage will be an area for ALL young people to network and hear from youth activists worldwide.
The youth stage will be located on the North side of City Hall.

Rage Against the Machine: Free Concert at Millions for Mumia: 4/24
On April 24 in Philadelphia, Zack will be on stage describing his testimony at the United Nation's International Commission of Human Rights and other activism. Rage Against the Machine, along with Beastie Boys, Bad Religion, Black Star, Chuck D, and others, performed a controversial benefit concert for Mumia on January 28 at the Meadowlands in New Jersey.
April 24th, 10 AM Progress Plaza, Broad & Oxford Streets
The International Penn Relays are in town from April 21st - 24th. Why not race for justice? We are calling for ALL runners to dash down to City Hall to save the life of Mumia Abu-Jamal. On the morning of April 24th we will start gathering at 10 AM at Progress Plaza and head up Broad Street to meet up with 1000 DRUMMERS on our way to City Hall.
Members of other contingents coming into City Hall from other areas of the Philadelphia can lead their own contingents with a race for justice.
