Boycott Starbucks!

Protesters from the Gaza Committee in Dearborn, Mich., picketed Starbucks on March 7 over its connections to Israel. The coffee shop chain is also viciously anti-union. The protesters denounced U.S. support for the Zionist settler state, which has been waging a genocidal war against the Palestinian people. An international boycott, divestment and sanctions campaign is targeting Starbucks, whose CEO, Howard Schultz, received the Israeli 50th Anniversary Tribute Award in 1998 from a Zionist group that promotes settlements on Palestinian land. The campaign is also targeting all institutions and corporations that do business with Israel. The southeastern Michigan-based Gaza Committee is building future actions with this campaign and others that support the Palestinian people.
