On behalf of the International Anti-imperialist and People's Solidarity Coordinating Committee, Manik Mukherjee, General Secretary, has issued the following statement.

The International Anti-imperialist and people's Solidarity Coordinating Committee (IAPSCC) strongly condemns the horrendous aerial attack by Israel on Gaza killing and injuring hundreds of Palestinian people and demands that Israeli aggression against Palestine must immediately cease. In a most brazen manner the Israeli Government has bragged more severe attacks might follow. Ever since Hamas came to power in Gaza on the Palestinian people's mandate Israel launched attacks on Gaza on one pretext or another and has imposed a crippling blockade. This last aerial attack was specifically targeted against Hamas leaders and security personnel. We call upon the people of the world to organize militant movements protesting against Israeli barbarity and to mobilize effective public opinion to force Israel to give up its aggressive policy, to stop the cold blooded killing of the Palestinians and to recognize the rights of the Palestinian people to return to their homeland.
