El parlamentario comunista denunció que con el visto
bueno de la Casa Blanca y bajo la complicidad de del sistema de Naciones
Unidas, se permite al gobierno sionista de Israel convertir a Gaza en la mayor
prisión a cielo abierto conocida en el mundo.

"Denunciamos que con el visto bueno de la Casa Blanca y bajo la
complicidad del sistema de Naciones Unidas, se permite al gobierno sionista de
Israel convertir a Gaza en un inmenso campo de concentración, convertir a
Palestina en la mayor prisión a cielo abierto conocida en el mundo y
tolerada por muchos de los supuestos países defensores de los Derechos
Humanos", declar acció Carolus Wimmer, Vicepresidente del Parlatino
Grupo Venezolano, ante los recientes ataques de Israel contra el pueblo
palestino en la Franja de Gaza.
"Con esta acción genocida, Israel quiere cerrar
todas las puertas para un posible diálogo que permita la solución
pacífica al conflicto. Hay que recordar que ha sido la intransigencia de
Israel lo que ha impedido una y otra vez una solución pacífica,
primero con Arafat y la OLP, y en la actualidad tanto con Abú Abbas como
con Hamas", puntualizó el parlamentario.
"Es indignante la pasividad de los gobiernos de la
comunidad internacional que permiten a Israel la imposición de estos y
otros castigos colectivos, claramente prohibidos por el derecho internacional,
mientras que la maquinaria de guerra de ocupación sigue actuando sin
compasión sobre la población civil Palestina", señaló
Wimmer, Secretario de Relaciones Internacionales del Partido Comunista de
Venezuela, PCV.
"En nombre del PCV, condenamos enérgicamente el
ataque del gobierno ilegal y genocida de Israel contra el pueblo palestino en
la Franja de Gaza, como un acto de terrorismo de Estado perpetrado ante una
población civil indefensa con consecuencia de centenares de víctimas
mortales y más de mil heridos",declaró el diputado.
"El PCV hace un llamado al gobierno nacional
venezolano para que considere la suspensión de las relaciones
diplomáticas y comerciales con Israel en tanto su gobierno no respete los
Derechos Humanos, la Ley Internacional, las Resoluciones de la ONU y el
Dictamen del Tribunal Internacional de La Haya que condena el Muro del
Apartheid", manifestó el dirigente comunista.
"Expresamos nuestra solidaridad ante el sufrimiento
del millón y medio de personas que permanecen prisioneras en Gaza sin que
se permita que hasta ellas llegue la ayuda humanitaria de alimentos, agua,
medicinas o suministro de energía, con todo lo que estas carencias
conllevan y hacemos un llamado al pueblo venezolano en estas fechas tan
significativas, para que mostremos nuestra condena a la violencia de Israel
contra el pueblo palestino", finalizó Wimmer.

PCV: "The government of Israel has converted
Gaza into a concentration camp"
The Communist member of parliament denounces the green
light from the White House and the complicity of the United Nations system,
which have allowed the Zionist regime in Israel to convert Gaza ito the largest
known open-air prison in the world.

"We denounce that with the approval of the White House and the complicity
of the system of United Nations, the Zionist government of Israel has been
permitted to turn to Gaza into an immense concentration camp, to turn Palestine
into the largest known open-air prison in the world, all tolerated by many of
the countries that are supposedly the defenders of human rights," said
Carolus Wimmer, Vice-president of the Parlatino Venezuelan Group, regarding the
recent attacks of Israel against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
"With this genocidal action, Israel wants to close
all the doors to a possible dialogue that allows the peaceful resolution of the
conflict. It is necessary to remember that it has been the intransigence of
Israel which has prevented time and time again a peaceful solution, first with
[Palestinian Premier Yasser] Arafat and the PLO, and at present either with
Abú Abbas [PLA leader] or with Hamas." the parliamentarian
emphasized.
"It is infuriating that the passivity of the
governments of the international community has allowed Israel to impose
collective punishment, clearly prohibited by the international law, while the
military machine of the occupation continued to act without compassion against
the Palestinian civilian," said Wimmer, who is Secretary of International
Relations of the PCV.
"In the name of the PCV, we energetically condemn the
Israeli regime's illegal attack and its genocide against the Palestinian
people in the Gaza Strip, and consider it an act of state terrorism perpetrated
upon a defenseless civilian population with the consequence of hundreds of
killed and more than thousand wounded," the deputy declared.
"The PCV calls upon the Venezuelan national
government to consider the suspension of diplomatic and commercial relations
with Israel because the Israeli regime does not respect human rights,
International Law, the UN Resolutions and the Opinion of the International
Court at The Hague, which has condemned the Apartheid Wall," the communist
leader explained.
"We express our solidarity regarding the suffering of
the 1.5 million people who remain prisoners in Gaza without being allowed to
receive humanitarian aid of food, water, medicines or provide energy, with all
that these shortages entail, and we call upon the Venezuelan people during
these very significant days to show our condemnation of Israel's violence
against the Palestinian people," Wimmer concluded.
