Over 200,000 may have died in the earthquake that
devastated Haiti on January 12, 2010.
Thousands more are wounded and dying every day from
infections, embolisms and lack of medical care and supplies. Some 2 million
people are homeless.
Please join the Coalition To Stand With
Haiti in this demonstration to Honor the memory of the
dead and to Show solidarity with those who are injured and who
lost their family members and homes.
The pain is immense. Only as one, can we bear it.
At 4:53 p.m., the time the earthquake struck, we will
begin our walk toward the Brooklyn Bridge on our way to Foley Square, behind
the Federal Building in downtown Manhattan.
Let us mourn the dead! Let us honor the courage and
solidarity of the Haitian people! With their strength, a new Haiti will be
built for Haitians!
Take the #2, #3, #4 IRT trains to Borough Hall. Take the
Flatbush 41 Bus to Tillary.
LET US SAVE HAITI! HAITI WILL NOT DIE! HAITI FOREVER!
