Tomorrow, tens of thousands of people will take to the streets in NYC to march against war and occupation. The Troops Out Now Coalition has won a significant victory by obtaining the right to rally in Marcus Garvey Park, Central Park, and at Mayor Bloomberg's mansion on 79th St. & 5th Ave.

This historic march will begin in Harlem's Marcus Garvey Park at 10 am, followed by a march to Central Park's East Meadow. After the noon rally in Central Park, we will march to Mayor Bloomberg's mansion on 79th St. to demand "Fund Cities, Not War!"

In addition to the Troops Out Now march in New York City, there will be protests in more than 700 cities throughout the U.S. This weekend, the second anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq, will see worldwide protests, with actions in Seoul, Belfast, Istanbul, Warsaw, Oslo, Mexico City, Athens, Barcelona, Manila, Lisbon, Madrid, Vienna, Porto Alegre, Sao Paulo, Copenhagen, Sydney, and many other cities.

In New York, the Troops Out Now demonstration is drawing activists from all over the Northeast, with vans, car caravans, buses, and peace trains coming from Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC, Cleveland, Boston, Newark, and many other cities. Some are driving from as far away as Florida to march. For a complete list of organizing centers, see http://www.troopsoutnow.org .

Putting together a massive demonstration requires a lot of resources, and we need your help to make this event a success.
