WHAT YOU CAN DO:
There will be an international march on the Pentagon on October 25, which will include delegations from countries around the world. Under the banner The World Unites Against U.S. Militarism, the demonstration will also demand an end to the looting of social programs by the war machine. As we march on the Pentagon, banners from countries from all continents will represent the resistance of people around the world to the threat posed by the Bush Administration's hyper-aggressive "preemptive war" strategy which is rampaging against the people of the world.The Bush administration has also just won approval from Congress to proceed with the creation of a new generation of tactical nuclear weapons explicitly designed to be used, especially in the Third World in coming conflicts. The march will demand an immediate end to this new nuclear arms race. As the October 25-26 weekend is the second anniversary of the signing of the Patriot Act, we are starting at the Justice Department where representatives of cities and communities around the country who have begun non-cooperation campaigns will deliver copies of their resolutions.
The demonstration will also be a political challenge to the assault on civil rights and civil liberties and the expansion of the system of repression in the U.S. and in countries around the world which have adopted new repressive National Security laws. We will march from the Justice Department to the White House to the Pentagon, the real "Axis of Evil."

Mientras marchamos hacia el Pentágono, mantas de países de todos los continentes representarán la resistencia de los pueblos del mundo a la amenaza de la ultra agresiva "guerra preventiva" de la Administración de Bush, estrategia que ha sido diseñada contra todos los pueblos del mundo.
La administración de Bush recientemente también ha conseguido la aprobación del Congreso para proceder con la creación de una nueva generación de armas nucleares tácticas diseñada para ser usadas, sobre todo contra el Tercer Mundo en los próximos conflictos. La marcha exigirá un fin inmediato a esta nueva ola de armas nucleares.
Como el fin de semana del 25-26 de octubre es el segundo aniversario de la firma del Acta Patriótica, estaremos empezando en el Departamento de Justicia donde representantes de ciudades y comunidades alrededor del país que han empezado campañas de no-cooperación entregarán copias de sus resoluciones.
La demostración será también un desafío político al ataque contra los derechos y libertades civiles y a la expansión del sistema de represión en los EE.UU. y en los países que han adoptado las nuevas leyes represivas de Seguridad Nacional. Marcharemos del Departamento de Justicia a la Casa Blanca y de allí al Pentágono, los cuales conjuntamente son el verdadero "Eje del Mal".
