Below is a list of ways that you can get involved and help out with the preparation for the International Action Center's September 29 "Surround the White House" demonstration, part of the Sep. 28 - Oct. 4 convergence against the IMF and World Bank.
No matter where you live, there's plenty you can do to build the September 29 protest against the Bush program and the convergence against the IMF/WB.

BE AN ORGANIZING CENTER FOR SEPTEMBER 29 & THE CONVERGENCE
Work with other individuals and groups in your city, school, community, place of worship, union or workplace to bring people to DC on September 29, and if possible, to stay until October 4. Organizing tools are available. Serving as an organizing center in your area would mean we list you on the IAC web site as a local contact and can direct people in your area to you.

PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION TO DC
Ask groups, unions, schools, religious institutions and colleges in your area to subsidize bus and van transportation to the rally. Make sure you're in touch with us so we can list you on our web page and provide you with up-to-date logistics information.
PUBLICIZE THE SEPTEMBER 29 PROTEST TO BEAT BUSH BACK
Help get out posters, flyers, and stickers in your area. For materials, email or call the office or download camera-ready literature from www.iacenter.org . We can send you a packet today (just send us an email request with your address!).
JOIN THE MASSIVE PUBLICITY CAMPAIGN
Help get out tens of thousands of posters, flyers, and stickers. Team up with others or pick up materials to get out on your own.
BECOME A SEPTEMBER 29 ORGANIZER
Mobilize your school, job, union, religious institution or community to attend the September 29 demonstration. Organizing tools are available.
Help answer phones, do phone banking, send mail, ship materials, raise funds, etc.
PROMOTE BUS TICKETS
Promote Sep. 29 bus tickets. Tell your friends, co-workers, students, and neighbors. Call your local Organizing Center or call the National Office at 212-633-6646
