Stop Bombing Yugoslavia Demonstrate May 15

Money for jobs, health care and education—not war!

On Saturday, May 15, there will be demonstrations in New York City, New Paltz, Minneapolis, Boston, and other cities across the country. See the International Action Center web site-- www.iacenter.org --for more protests. Email in information about local protests for listing.

Thousands of people will be demonstrating as a building action for the massive June 5 National March on the Pentagon.

Saturday, May 15, 12 noon assemble at WNYC Radio, 1 Centre Street, NYC, march to Brooklyn Bridge

Join us in front of the offices of the WNYC Radio station to say stop the policy of excluding the anti-war movement from their editorial commentaries. WNYC and National Public Radio said nothing in protest of the vicious criminal bombing of the television stations must be exposed as an attack on freedom of the press.

March with us to the Brooklyn Bridge to show solidarity with the people of Yugoslavia who are bravely occupying bridges in defiance of NATO’s bombing campaign. NATO is systematically targeting civilian and commerce bridges for destruction, which is severely disrupting the lives of people all over Yugoslavia.

Thousands of innocent people are being killed by the Pentagon’s illegal mass bombing campaign against Yugoslavia.

The U.S. is demonizing the government of Yugoslavia and the Serbian people as a pretext for U.S. aggression. The U.S. government--working on behalf of the biggest corporations, banks, and oil companies--wants to become the dominant power in this strategic and resource-rich area.

We are demanding that the billions being sent for war and mass murder be used for education, jobs, housing, child care, health care, and to meet people’s needs.
