Join with the thousands across the globe who will take to the streets on March 18 to demand "Troops Out Now!"

In the past few hours, the U.S. has launched the largest air assault in three years against the people of Iraq. We do not yet know how many have died in this latest attack, but we do know that well over 100,000 Iraqis have died since the March 2003 U.S. invasion. Thousands more have been swept up in mass arrests and midnight raids and shipped off to the torture chambers of Abu-Ghraib and Guantanamo.

Opposition to the war in Iraq is growing, fueled by revelations of the horrific brutality of the occupation. But in order for this opposition to have an impact, it must be felt in the streets.

Join the global antiwar movement in the streets on Saturday, March 18 to demand "Troops Out Now!" In NYC, we will rally in Times Sq. at 1:00 pm to call for the Immediate, Complete, and Unconditional withdrawal of all occupying forces from Iraq. The billions that have been spent to bring death, destruction, and torture to the people of Iraq should be spent for housing, healthcare, education, and other basic needs.

This is a critical moment for the anti-war movement. Bush's approval ratings are plummeting. People across the globe are outraged at the war and at the criminal neglect in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Now is the time that we can truly make an impact. March 18 is the day. The global movement, from Jakarta, Indonesia, to Reykjavik, Iceland will be on the streets on this day, marching against the Empire. Join us in Times Square at 1:00 pm.
