URGENT PRESS RELEASE FROM THE MADRID PLATFORM AGAINST IMPERIALIST WAR

Faced with the risk that the escalating tension between Syria and Turkey will lead to an open NATO attack on Syria, either directly or through the Turkish army, the Platform Against Imperialist War CALLS UPON THE POPULATION TO REACT WITH DETERMINATION TO OPPOSE THIS NEW AGGRESSION FROM THE IMPERIALIST POWERS OF THE U.S., THE EU AND ISRAEL.

Should this attack take place, the Platform shall, with 24 hours notice, call for an assembly at 8 p.m. at Puerta del Sol, where they can decide to call future demonstrations. It also suggests that similar assemblies be convened in other cities and towns.

COMUNICADO URGENTE DE LA PLATAFORMA CONTRA LA GUERRA IMPERIALISTA DE MADRID

 Ante el riesgo de que la escalada de tensión entre Siria y Turquía dé lugar a un ataque abierto de la OTAN sobre Siria , bien de forma directa, o a través del ejército turco, la Plataforma contra la Guerra Imperialista LLAMA A LA CIUDADANÍA  A REACCIONAR CON DETERMINACIÓN ANTE ESTA NUEVA AGRESIÓN DEL IMPERIALISMO DE EE.UU., LA UE E ISRAEL.

En el caso de que este ataque se produzca, la Plataforma convocará, con 24 horas de antelación, una concentración a las 20h. en la Puerta del Sol, donde podrán decidirse movilizaciones posteriores. Así mismo, sugiere que concentraciones semejantes puedan convocarse en  plazas de otras ciudades y pueblos.
