NYC: Feb. 24: Fundraiser for Workers Center
It is not too late to RSVP for this important fundraiser
for the Mississippi Workers Center which fights for social justice in one of
the poorest states in the country. No one will be turned away for lack of funds
or for making a modest donation. There will also be a silent auction held
during the event. Please RSVP to Brenda or Shelley by calling their cell phone
numbers which can be found in the beautiful invitation below. It is important
to RSVP to them by Friday, Feb. 22 at 4 pm since the food is being catered.
If you can't attend, you can still make a donation by calling Brenda and
Shelley to make an arrangement. This is such a worthy cause to support, to hear
great jazz and to socialize with other activists.
As you know, this event was scheduled for this past October and had
to be rescheduled because of Hurricane Sandy!!! We hope to see you
there.
