Join Solidarity Rally for people of Yemen, Libya, Bahrain & Palestine SAT 2/26 3-6pm Times Square - Demand U.S. Hands Off
The International Action Center urges solidarity with the resistance
struggles shaking dictatorships throughout the Arab World.
We also take note with growing apprehension the calls from Washington for No
Fly Zones and or Sanctions against Libya.
It is important to note that on February 22 the U.S. actually used its veto
to block a UN Security Council Resolution against continued building of Israeli
settlements in the West Bank in a vote of 14 to 1. The next day claiming
concern for human life and democracy the U.S. was demanding authorization to
militarily impose a No Fly Zone and again Sanctions against Libya. We remember
13 years of No FLy Zones and Sanctions against Iraq causing the death of more
than 1 million Iraqis.
On that very day the Washington Post reported the top U.S./NATO Commander in
Afghanistan, General Petraeus racist response when the death of 64 innocent
civilians in a U.S. military campaign was raised. General Petraeus dismissed
U.S. responsibility and callously claimed that Afghan parents "Burn their
own children" in order to make the U.S. military actions look bad. This is
the daily horror that U.S. war and occupations bring to the entire region.
This is an important time to raise our voices to say: No U.S. Intervention
Against Arab Peoples, U.S. Hands OFF Libya, U.S. 5th Fleet Out of Bahrain,
Stand with Palestine, End U.S. wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and drone attacks
in Yemen and Pakistan.
Join in solidarity with the demonstration called on Saturday by Muslim
organizations in the NYC area.

Square, NY (42nd st. & 7th Ave.)
We urge every one and every Arabic and non Arabic Organization to joint the
rally to show the solidarity with people in all of this countries to get their
freedom and human right
