Una muy importante conferencia de prensa para el día Martes 17 de marzo en
La plaza Union Square, Manhattan , realizara la Coalición 1 de Mayo para
Derechos del Trabajador y del Inmigrante.
Miembros de grupos de inmigrantes, sindicatos, jornaleros, estudiantes,
activistas de derechos humanos, y los trabajadores en general que son parte de
la Coalición 1º Mayo para los Derechos del Trabajador y del
Inmigrante anunciaremos los próximos pasos en el camino para
lograr el mismo éxito de las pasadas manifestaciones de inmigrantes en la
ciudad de Nueva York y otras ciudades de América.
En dicha conferencia Convocaremos públicamente a la gran jornada de
movilización del día 1 de Mayo del 2009
Cada 1 de mayo en que se conmemora el Día Internacional del
Trabajador la coalición ha organizado por 4 años consecutivos
grandes jornadas de protesta en defensa de los derechos de los inmigrantes y
trabajadores.
Por una reforma migratoria ahora, las exigencias al reconocimiento de derechos
humanos para todos los inmigrantes, el fin inmediato de las redadas y
deportaciones que afectan a miles de familias trabajadoras inmigrantes, el
término de los crímenes raciales, invitamos a esta multitudinaria
jornada en Nueva York.

The May 1st Coalition for Worker and Immigrant Rights will organize a press
conference on Tuesday, March 17th at 12:30pm at Union Square, in Manhattan.
Members of immigrant groups, unions, laborers, students, human rights
activists, and workers in general who are part of the May 1st Coalition Worker
and Immigrant Rights will announce the next steps on the path to achieve the
same success of past demonstrations of immigrants in the city of New York and
other American cities.
The Coalition May 1st will make a public call to mobilize workers and
immigrants for a big rally that will be held on May 1, 2009.
Every May 1st workers and immigrants commemorate the International Day of Labor
in which the Coalition has been organizing rallies for 4 consecutive years. The
rallies express protest for the week situation immigrants and workers and the
defense of their human rights.
The Coalition demands are an immediate immigration reform, the recognition of
human rights for all immigrants, for a prompt end of raids and deportations
that are affecting thousands of immigrants working families, and to stop racial
crimes.
