Poetry, dance, song, film, and a word from distinguished guests such as Attorney Damon Hewitt (on leave of absence from the /NAACP Legal Defense Fund/to serve as Executive Director of New York Governor David Patterson’s Task Force on Police-on-Police Shootings) and Bill Quigley (Human Rights Lawyer on leave from Loyola University now serving as legal director for the /Center for Constitutional Rights/) who will be giving us a report of the current state of affairs in the New Orleans Area and throughout The Diaspora.
There is a $10.00 donation, at the door, /request/ to help cover the expenses of putting on this event (i.e., food, beverages, decorations, etc.) The space is donated by The Solidarity Center.
