JESUS "CHUCHO" GARCIA, Member of the Presidential Commission of the Bolivarian Government on Racism from Venezuela.
Camarada Garcia is an anthropologist in Venezuela and the author of 16 books on the Afro-Venezuelan community in Venezuela. "Chu-Cho" was the main organizer of the International Gathering of Afro-Descendants in the Americas that recently took place in Venezuela.
This is a decisive moment for the Bolivarian Revolution in Venezuela. The Bush administration will do every thing in its power to put a halt to the growing people's movement in that country. We can be sure that in Washington there are secret plans to do away with President Hugo Chavez.
Despite U.S.'s belligerence, Venezuela's President and its people continue to defy imperialism and build the kind of society they desire free of U.S. financial and political dictates. For example, President Hugo Chavez's alternative to the Free Trade Area of the Americas, ALBA (Bolivarian Alternative to the Americas) is gaining support throughout the continent in yet another rejection of the Washington Consensus.
Come learn more about the Bolivarian Revolution in Venezuela that is inspiring not only the people of the Americas but the world.

El camarada García es un antropólogo Venezolano y autor de más de 16 libros acerca de las comunidades Venezolanas. "Chucho" Fue el principal organizador de la reunión internacional de afro-descendientes del continente americano que tomo lugar en caracas Venezuela.
Estamos ante un momento decisivo para el proceso revolucionario que vive Venezuela. La administración Bush tratara de hacer todo lo posible para acabar con el movimientos populares y el gobierno democrático del presidente Hugo Chávez.
A pesar de la beligerancia de los Estados Unidos el presidente Venezolano junto a su pueblo continúan desafiando al imperialismo y construyendo una sociedad libre de los dictámenes políticos y económicos del norte. Por ejemplo la alternativa que el presidente Hugo Chávez presenta ante el área de libre comercio, llamada "La Alternativa Bolivariana para Las Americas" ha venido ganando apoyo a través del continente y una negativa del intervensionismo norte-Americano.
