National Day of Protest on Sept. 28th, 2002 for Palestine
ALL OUT FOR SEPTEMBER 28TH PROTEST LET IRAQ LIVE! FREE PALESTINE!
There are less than two weeks left for the major west coast protest in San Francisco, to demonstrate fierce opposition to Bush's war drive and genocidal campaign on the peoples of Palestine and Iraq. We have distributed about 15,000 fliers by hand, mostly at events, announced the protest in cities spanning from San Diego to Seattle.
On behalf of Justice in Palestine Coalition, International A.N.S.W.E.R. we invite you to join us in an organizing meeting, one week prior to the demonstration. Bring your friends and family and everybody who is willing and able to flier, poster and spread the word out.

At this moment in history while the Palestinian people are facing unimaginable tragedy, their steadfastness is an inspiration to all justice-loving people. We invite you to join in raising our voices together to say we will not allow the crimes against Palestinians to go unchallenged. Palestinians and many organizations devoted to justice with peace are joining forces for a major regional rally September 28, 2002 in San Francisco, California. We’d like you to be there.
Join with thousands to commemorate the second anniversary of the Al Aqsa Intifada, the historic 20th anniversary of the massacres at Sabra and Shatila, and to raise our voices saying No More U.S.-Israeli Crimes of Occupation. A nationally coordinated protest the day after ours in Chicago will draw over 10,000 people from across the midwest and east coast.
At these actions in San Francisco and Chicago people will march demanding:
Support the Palestinian people’s right to return home Israel’s campaign of displacement has made Palestinians the largest refugee population in the world. Uphold United Nations Resolution 194 calling for the right to return.
Stop U.S. Aid to Israel Between five to twelve billion dollars in annual U.S. aid funds massacres, home demolitions, the closure of cities and schools and ongoing displacement. Redirect those dollars for education, health and other needed services.
Divest from Israel now Boycott Israeli-made goods. Boycott U.S. companies that invest in Israeli companies and do business with Israel. Divest universities from companies doing business with Israel.
No new war against Iraq The US war and twelve years of sanctions have killed over a million Iraqi people, many of them children. Two chief weapons inspectors hav resigned over the fraudulent policy of sanctions. Lift the sanctions now.

Join the Justice In Palestine Coalition and hundreds of other organizations in endorsing the September 28 National Day of Protest in San Francisco Activists from many movements are joining together in Chicago (for a national rally) and San Francisco (for a regional rally) on Septemeber 28 to:
- Support Palestinian People's Right to Return home.
- Divest from Israel now.
- Stop US Aid to Israel.
- No new War against Iraq.

Get involved in building for September 28 rally. Your organization can help make September 28th a success:
- Get the word out.
- Send a flyer or email to your organizational list. Contact us if you need flyers, originals, or sample email messages.
- Build a contingent to participate in the event with your organization marching under your banner, signs, or slogans.
- Organize car pools, buses or other transportation.
- Send a contribution of $100 or an amount you can Raise
- Form an organizing center in your area.
