Rev. Kiyul Chung, Pastor, Mount Vernon UMC, D.C.The Forum also features the premiere U.S. showing of "Kill 'em All," a new 45-minute BBC documentary on Nogun-ri. Nogun-ri was the infamous machine-gun massacre of civilian refugees by U.S. troops during the Korean War
Although the crimes were committed over 50 years ago, the pain and suffering of innocent people and their families continues. And so does the U.S. military occupation of south Korea and the threat of a new war on the Korean peninsula.
The forum is part of the June 22 International Action Day Against War and for Peace initiated by the progressive movements in Korea and Japan to coincide with the World Cup Games.
Please join us this Sunday, June 23, at 1 pm, at the UN Church Center in Manhattan to say: "No new war against the Korean People!"
