Los Angeles: Assist Haiti Relief Aid
Haiti has been ravaged by U.S. imperialism for many years. The U.S.'s latest assault on Haiti which destroyed the Aristide government and its infrastructure greatly contributed to Haiti's inability to prepare for the devastating effects of the hurricane. To date 3,000 Haitians have died from this natural disaster. Please consider donations and your labor on October 9 through the 16th to help in the following relief aid drive by the Haitian-American Ministries:

HAITI RELIEF AID DRIVE!
Haitian-American Ministries (HAM) a 501(c)(3) organization, is conducting a Relief Aid Drive in the Los Angeles area for the flood victims of Haiti . We are requesting that people make donations of non-perishable food items, water, medicine and medical supplies. There is also a need for monetary donations to cover the cost of shipping and transportation.
Donations of boxes (18" x 18"x 24" approx.) and shipping tape are needed as well.
Donations can made at the various drop off sites that we have in the Los Angeles area listed below. We ask that people call first before going by.
