"I
am committed to seeing the end to the Castro
regime, which
I have long condemned for its flagrant human
rights abuse and
political oppression. There is no excuse for
the Castro regime
to hold down over 11 million talented and

Let there be
no mistake about my view: I will support effective
and peaceful
strategies that will hasten the end of the
Castro regime as soon
as possible, and enable the Cuban people to
take their rightful
place in the democratic community of the Americas.

HAVANA (AP) -- Members of an American humanitarian aid group arrived

``We know in our hearts and in our heads ... that the blockade is
immoral, is illegal, is illogical and is unjust,'' said the Rev. Lucius
Walker, a Baptist minister from New Jersey who founded Pastors for

of Islam and she was barely 23 years old.
From International Peace for Cuba Appeal:
In these recent times of increased U.S. hostility against Cuba and the
signing of the Helms-Burton law, it is important for supporters of the
Cuban Revolution and opponents of the blockade to be up to date on new
developments in Cuba, and to hear the Cubans' perspective on the struggles
they face. The International Peace for Cuba Appeal has worked hard to
prepare two new works:
