The second U.S. tour of Cuban Union Leaders is taking place July 12 to August 16, 2001. This national tour is another tremendous opportunity for U.S. workers to interact with their Cuban counterparts and to continue the dialogue begun in the fruitful tour last year. Meetings have already been scheduled with Central Labor Councils of the AFL-CIO, International union presidents, rank-and-file union members, congress people, leaders of the Latino and African-American communities, religious leaders and students. Also planned are visits to factories, TV, radio and newspaper interviews.
