WALKER AND OTHERS.
SPECIAL PERFORMANCE BY BOJAH, HIP HOP ARTIST THREATENED BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF TREASURY FOR TRAVELING TO CUBA.
On Saturday Nov 20 at John Jay College the New York Committee to Free the
Cuban Five and the Puerto Rican/Latin American Studies Department at John
Jay
College along with Cuba solidarity groups will sponsor a teach in on the case
of the Cuban Five.
Schedule:
10am: Opening Plenary: including a legal overview of the
Case by attorney Linda Backiel
11:45am: Workshops to include: the visa campaign to win
visitation rights for the families of the five, media
relations, outreach, U.S.-Cuba relations and updates on
the legal case.
1-2pm: Lunch Break
2:00pm: Closing Plenary: Hip Hop Performance by Bojah and
presentations by Ramsey Clark and Rev. Lucius Walker.

west to 445 W. 59th St.
